Who I am.

Originally from Nebraska, my love for music and sound began early with violin studies in the Suzuki method—an instrument and practice that carried me through university, where I earned a degree in composition with an emphasis on music technology at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln during the pandemic of 2020.

My journey led me to Nashville and Belmont University, where I studied Audio Engineering Technology under renowned mentors including Joe Baldridge, Ed Seay, Dr. Doyeun Ko, Jon Lechner, and mastering engineer Jim Kaiser. I later deepened my expertise at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music, completing a Master’s Degree in Sound Recording while working closely with pioneers such as George Massenburg, Richard King, Wieslaw Woszczyk, Denis Martin, and Martha de Francisco.

During my time in Montréal—supplemented by two seasons at the acclaimed Tanglewood Music Festival in Lenox, Massachusetts, working in both Ozawa Hall and the contemporary Linde Center—I expanded my focus beyond traditional stereo projects into the innovative world of immersive audio.

My work across audio and video has since led to collaborations with a wide range of artists and ensembles including Bruce Lui, the Danish String Quartet, Angèle Dubeau, Reena Esmail, Gabriela Lena Frank, Paul Winter, Debbie Harry, Monique Elen, Bobby Irving III, Frank McComb, Larry Williams, Caity Giorgi, Benjamin Sigerson, Andrii Didorenko, masterclasses including Yo-Yo Ma, Andris Nelsons, and archival work including such artists as Bobby Hutcherson, Arthur Fiedler with the Boston Pops Orchestra, and Bob Dylan among others.

I have also recorded ensembles such as the McGill Symphony Orchestra, McGill Jazz Orchestra I and II, the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, Glass Clouds Ensemble, the Turkish American Orchestra, Brooklyn Conservatory Community Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Bronx, the Choral Society of Grace Church, Cantori New York, and Elevate Chorus with Arreon Harley Emerson.

I’m passionate about exploring the possibilities of sound in all its forms and love helping artists bring their work to life with clarity and impact. If you’re planning a recording, broadcast, or live production, I’d be delighted to connect and collaborate.
